Inclusive Participation and Safety

We want every Fox Mill 6th grader who wants to attend to feel welcome. The event is free, and students do not need to be Pinecrest Pool members.

Students do not have to swim to participate. Beach volleyball, yard games, and other activities will be available.

If your child is not a strong swimmer, does not plan to swim, or needs extra supervision near the water, please let us know in advance so our volunteers can plan appropriately.

We know the timing may be challenging because the event begins during the school day. If transportation or scheduling is a concern, please reach out. We cannot guarantee transportation, but we are happy to help think through possible solutions. Families are responsible for coordinating any early dismissal or absence with the Fox Mill office.

What Students Should Bring

  • A towel
  • Sunscreen, applied before arrival if possible
  • A water bottle
  • Any personal items they need for the pool

All guests must shower before entering the pool. Rafts and flotation devices are not allowed.

Pickup Information

The party ends at 3:45 p.m. Please plan to arrive between 3:45 and 3:55 p.m. so students can be picked up promptly and cleared from the pool area by 4:00 p.m.
